Personal Property

File Personal Property Statement Online
Hint: It is helpful to have your 2016 postcard available for reference before filing.  The Assessor's office mailed postcards to all businesses in the City of Sun Prairie at the end of December.  If you are filing on behalf of a business, ask them to provide the postcard with the randomly assigned access PIN number.

We encourage all businesses located within the city to file their Personal Property Statement online. The site will be open and be available by late December each year.

Statement of Personal Property

Every person, firm or corporation who has operating assets conducting business within the City of Sun Prairie must file a Statement of Personal Property with the City Assessor’s Office each year on or before March 1st.

If you are unable to file electronically please contact our office and the appropriate statement will be sent to you or you can print and fill out a blank Statement of Personal Property Form (PA-003) (PDF). Filing deadline is always March 1st.

New Businesses

If you are a new business located within the City of Sun Prairie please complete the New Business Form. The Assessor's Department will start a new Personal Property account for you.
